Waterfowl South Interlake #1 - Limited Openings 2009

Great Fall Goose and Duck or Spring Snow Goose and Sandhill Crane hunts!! This camp is located in the heart of the South Interlake, home of the world famous Oak Hammock and Delta Marsh’s and about 25 miles north of Winnipeg. Hunting area consists of tens of thousands of acres of leased private corn, barley, wheat, oat and hay fields for our field shoots. We also have exclusive access to over 400 acres of private marsh’s as well as a few remote public water bodies that produce awesome boat blind and/or wader hunts. The Canada Goose population is tremendous with thousands seen daily. Snow goose populations are high after a record hatch in the past 3 years (juvenile numbers are estimated at 35-40% of the entire flock) and the overall duck population increased by about 20% in past seasons due to an extremely wet spring. We have secure access to thousands of acres of grain fields in an urban farm area where a lot of urbanized resident Giant geese are feeding, and also have remote hunting areas as far as 70 miles Winnipeg, which keeps us close to home, yet off the beaten track with excellent shooting. The 2007 hunting season again lived up to and exceeded all expectations. Most groups limited out on Canada geese every morning and shot a variety of ducks and snows as well. We concentrate on snows and/or ducks in the afternoon dependent on timing. and have access into some slough bottoms and marshes which can produce awesome multi species duck shoots, as well as some great producing barley and corn fields for mallards. Airport pickup, processing and freezing of birds, home cooked meals and lodging in first rate accommodations as well as taxes are included licences are in addition. We offer a maximum of 5-7 hunters per hunting group, and no more than 2 groups in camp at any time.

2007 was again a phenomenal season - the weather and the birds co-operated extremely well and we had some record breaking hunts. Stay tuned to Final Approach TV on the outdoor channel  for footage shot with this camp.

Waterfowl North Interlake #2R

This outfitter has been operating for 18 years in North Interlake area. Camp is situated near Poplarfield, in the Interlake region, 90 miles north of Winnipeg , Manitoba on one of the major flyways for waterfowl. This flyway contains countless species of waterfowl and overall migration numbers continue to grow. This is the first agricultural area that the waterfowl arrive at from the north and we find the birds very willing to decoy. Our quality equipment including large spreads of shell and big foot Canadian decoys enable us to pull birds into decoying shots day after day. With leases on area fields and our own fields, we have produced some of the greatest shoots year after year. We are able to control the birds by rotating fields daily. This ‘resting' of the fields has allowed for better quality decoying and gives the field a chance to rebuild in numbers of waterfowl. We also have one of the sweetest duck ponds on our land allowing for afternoon and evening limits of ducks. Airport pickup, care of game, food and lodging, guiding, licenses and taxes are all included. We offer a maximum of 40 hunts annually with a maximum of 8 hunters in camp at any time.

Hunt cost 2008: $1500 US. for 3 Day or $2200 for 6 Day
Deposit of ½ to book, final payment by cash or certified draft in camp.
